He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hatch and Mary Hatch; and his siblings, Ronald, Bernice Anderson and Diane Perham.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Patterson Hatch; his friend Jeff; his son-in-law Paul Atwood; his children, Ronald, Tricia Patterson of Dracut, Matthew Patterson (Lauren Maggs) of Lynn and Melissa Atwood of Lynn; his grandchildren, Anthony, Kerri Atwood, RJ, BeckyLyn, Zackery, Jacoby, Brodie and KristaBelle Patterson; his great grandchild Emerson Alice Patterson; and his brother David Hatch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
