He was predeceased by: his wife Dorine Richard (Gautreau); his parents, Hervé Richard and Irene Richard (Poirier); and his siblings, Arias, Therese, Louise, Roger and Marguerite.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald Richard (Maureen) of Medford, Raymond Richard (Terry) of Lynn, Janice Richard of Lynn, Nancy Richard of Lynn and John Richard of Lynn; his grandchildren, David Richard (Tony DeLouise), Christopher Richard (Erin), Megan Richard, Danny Richard (Erica), Amanda Skahan (Dave) and Andrew Richard (Ashley); and his siblings, Raymond Richard, Francois Richard, Albert Richard (Anita), Annette Caissie (Paul-Emille) and Edna Dufour (Jacques). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
