He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Hymanson and Goldie Hymanson (Steinberg); his daughter Shelly Carpenter (Hymanson); his son-in-law Carl Goldman; and his son Philip.

He is survived by : his wife Elaine Hymanson (Kaufman); his daughter Laurie Ann Hymanson of Peabody; and his daughter-in-law Joan Hymanson of Pittsfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
