He is survived by: his wife Bridget Desmond (Burke) of Lynn; his children, Joe Desmond of Lynnfield, Caroline Desmond of Lynn and Amy Giarnese (Nate) of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Billie Desmond, Tiana Foglietta, Nathan Giarnese Jr., Aiden Giarnese, Caitlin Desmond, Ava Foglietta, Tommy Desmond and John Giarnese; and his great grandchild Charlotte Fitzgerald. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
