With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Carl Russo of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Carl Russo to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Russo and Alma Russo of Winchester, MA.; and his brothers, Louis Albert Russo, Thomas Russo and Ronald Russo.

He is survived by: his wife Marianne Russo (Romanowicz); his children, Michael (Alicia) of Hingham and Kara Nies (John) of Andover; his grandchildren, John, Charles, Lucille and Olivia; and his siblings, Karl Russo of Stoneham, Robert Russo of Gloucester and Maria Morando (Gregory) of Cape Carteret, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lane Funeral Home (760 Main St, Winchester, MA 01890). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Eulalia Church (50 Ridge St, Winchester, MA 01890).

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Massachusetts Alzheimer's Disease Research Center to support the Memory Disorders Fund in memory of Richard Russo.

“Dear Marianne, I am unable to attend the funeral services and Mass for Richie. I am working until 1 pm that day and unable to get coverage. My sincere thoughts and prayers to you and your entire family for "walking the walk" and giving him the best care possible during his sad journey.
