It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose M. (Nazzaro) Leone of Lynnfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raffaella Nazzaro (Solimine) and Vincenzo Nazzaro; her siblings, Salvatore and Eleanor; her husband Domenic D. Leone; her son Mark; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Poulos of Delray Beach, James, Alexander Leone-Forgette of Amherst and Tim Leone-Forgette of Belchertown.
She is survived by: her children, Andrea, Arthur Poulos of Malden, Jeanmarie Leone of Belchertown, Matthew Leone and Jane Menton of Wakefield; and her great grandchildren, Harry and Tess Poulos. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Mary's Church. A burial was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Wyoming Cemetery (205 Sylvan St, Melrose, MA 02176).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boston Children's Hospital or Perkins School for the Blind.
