He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert M. Gaeta and Concetta Gaeta (Provenzano); his sister Peggy DeSimone; and his father-in-law Arthur Selvitella. He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Gaeta (Selvitella); his children, Jacqui Chaffins (Bryan) of Billerica and Andrea Toomey (Corey) of Billerica; his grandchildren, Ava, Alex and Josh; his siblings, Janis Mini (Mike) of Saugus, Dave and Melanie Selvitella of Wakefield; and his mother-in-law Barbara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Al's name to Make a Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, 133 Federal St., 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02110.
