He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Young and Dorothy Young (Benett); and his wife Irene Young (Bushee). He is survived by: his children, Deborah Young of Medford, Dennis Young of North Reading, Steven Young of Northwood, NH, Paul Young of Lynnfield, David Young (Kari) of North Reading and Laurie Young of Wakefield; his grandchildren, Danielle, Jill, Amber, Steven, Dennis, Alicia, Matthew, Meghan and Gia; his great grandchildren, Tessa, Violet, Felicity, Ava, Steven and Caiden; and his sister Sandy Dortona of Salem, NH.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weir MacCuish Funeral Home (144 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148). A Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Church (770 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148). A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
