Carol C. (Fama) Brousseau Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol C. (Fama) Brousseau of Malden, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Fama and Josephine Fama (Navaro) of Somerville; her brother Leonard Fama of Melbourne, Florida.; and her husband Paul J. Brousseau of Dracut. She is survived by: her children, Stacey Ventre (Joe) of Melrose and Steven Brousseau; her daughter-in-law Kristin Brousseau of Bridgewater; and her grandchildren, Joseph Ventre (Sarah), Jessica Ventre of Melrose, Griffin, Hannah and Cole Brousseau of Bridgewater.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's memory to Breast Cancer Awareness organization, honoring her strength and courage.
