He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hanlon and Claire Hanlon (Gallant) of Saugus; and his siblings, James Hanlon of Wakefield and Kerry Hanlon of Lawrence. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Hart); his children, Scott Bentley, Matthew and Jessica Hanlon of Malden; and his siblings, Pat (John Cuneo) of Merrimack, NH, Kathy Hanlon (Mary) of South Berwick, ME, Anne (Joseph Dominick) of Saugus, MA, Lisa Kelly of Keene, NH, Michael Hanlon (Donna) of Seabrook, NH and Kevin Hanlon (Linda) of Concord, NH. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Saugus VFW (190C Main St, Saugus, MA 01906).
