Deborah Friedman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Friedman (Malden, Massachusetts), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 1, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Gold and Sarah Gold. She is survived by: her children, Michael Friedman, Dovya Friedman (George Hausner), Erica (Friedman) and Hodgson (Paul Hodgson); her grandchildren, Daniel Mason, Eric Mason, Brian Mason, Jacob Hausner, Zoe Hausner and Edith Hodgson; and her daughter Sharon Mason (Friedman).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deborah's name to the Jewish Foundation for Education of Women (jfew.org) or to Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (rac.org), reflecting her lifelong commitment to education, equity, and empowerment.
