With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ermelinda Callahan of Malden, Massachusetts, born in Everett, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 15, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Russo and Theresa Russo (Hill); her husband Edward Callahan; her children, Edward J. Callahan and Deborah A. Callahan; and her sisters, Joan Tracy, Roberta Reilly, Theresa Dingivan and Constance Murphy.

She is survived by: her close friend Paul Bentley; her grandson Joshua Redmond (Kellie Redmond); her great grandchildren, Liam and Liliana Redmond of Florida; and her sister Ann Hughes of Somerville. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
