He was predeceased by: his husband Terry Newlove; his siblings, Rose Rizzo (Sarah), Kathryn Vecchio (Kay), Joseph LaPiana, Ignazio LaPiana Jr. and Mary Brandariz (LaPiana); and his parents, Filippa LaPiana (Toscano) and Ignazio LaPiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
