Herb Drower Obituary
We bid farewell to Herb Drower (Malden, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 8, 2026 at the age of 93. Herb touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Drower and Dorothy Drower (Bernstein). He is survived by: his cousin Mark Stevens; his wife Sara Drower (Minkus); his daughters, Debora Drower and Denise Drower Swidey; his son-in-law Neil Swidey; and his granddaughters, Sophia, Nora and Susanna Swidey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
At the height of the pandemic in 2020, he and Sara moved to Boston to be closer to Denise's family. (Debora, a graphic designer, lives in Minnesota.) Ahead of the move, he packed his essential belongings into two suitcases and had no problem giving away all of his extensive collections, from the cases of Broadway albums to the vast array of tools in his workshop.
