It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Violante of Malden, Massachusetts, born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Violante and Angelina Violante (Rubino); her son Buster; and her siblings, Diane and Michael.

She is survived by : her spouse Sunday Okojie; her niece Deanna Roque; and her aunt Dolores Castellano. She is also survived by many cousins and friends that she considered a part of her family.
