Joseph LiCausi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph LiCausi (Malden, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio LiCausi and Maria LiCausi; his wife Rose LiCausi (Giacalone); his sibling Antoinetta Cocco of Marsala; and his brothers-in-law, Marco of Methuen and Joseph of Bedford.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony, Karen LiCausi of Melrose, Angelo LiCausi of West Yarmouth, Maria LiCausi and Sheila Brooks of Maynard; his grandchildren, Jenna Lahiff (Michael) of Melrose and Dr. Joseph LiCausi of Worcester; his great grandchildren, Jack, Noah and Shea Lahiff; his siblings, Rosa Fumoso of Marsala, Lorenzo of Marsala and Vito LiCausi of Marsala; his siblings-in-law, Michela, Frank, Rose of East Boston, Vito, Geraldine of Boston, Catherine, Jerry Riccio of Holbrook, Lena, Vincent Ristagno of Dorchester, Connie, Edward Deveau, Marina Smith, John, David, Paul and James Giacalone; and his friend Veronica LoConte of Medford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (600 Pleasant St, Malden, MA 02148).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joseph's name to the Community Family Adult Care, 106 Willis Ave., Everett, MA 02149.
