He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Esperanc Charles and Dalila Alcime; his children, Serge Charles of Dorchester, Jusnert Charles of Medford, Rutha Charles of Dorchester, Jean Baptist Charles of Webster, Germaine Charles of Dorchester, Arold Charles of Dorchster and Smith Charles of Taunton; and his sister Christine Charles Firmin of Randloph. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
