He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kinnard and Ella Mae Brasfield; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his children, Fantasia Cash and Michael J. Brasfield; his siblings, Naomi, Susie, Frances, Vera, Al Marshall, Michelle and Freda Brasfield; his grandchildren, Desirey, Jaquan and James; his great grandchild Nova; his nephews, Sheseina, Stacey, Ashley of Keenan, AJ, Adam and Tyler; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Shanice, Jahnae, Brooke, Ruddie and Ava.
