She was predeceased by: her husband Philip A. McCabe; her parents, Julia Twomey and Hugh Twomey; her son Paul McCabe; and her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Twomey.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Dean of Stoneham and Philip McCabe (Johannah) of Lynnfield; her grandchildren, Alexander Dean of Lytle Creek, Julia Dean (Wesley Warnock) of Nashua, Andrew McCabe of Malden, Brian McCabe (Erin) of Tampa and Jeffrey McCabe of Revere; and her great grandchild Rory McCabe.
