He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O'Meara and Mary O'Meara (Collins); and his sister Nancy DeMild. He is survived by: his wife Helen O'Meara (Saschuk) of Malden; his children, Mary Ellen O'Meara of Malden, Robert O'Meara Jr. (Laura) of Miami, Christine (Scott Donaghey) of Reading, Patricia O'Meara (Eric Larson) of Mountain View and John O'Meara (Ana Cecilia O'Meara) of Miami, Florida.; his grandchildren, Katia, Elizabeth, Robert III, Julia, Liam, Joseph, Caitlin and Kelsey; and his brother Joseph O'Meara of Wakefield. He is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home (144 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (790 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148).
