He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Marie Butland (Hartling); and his parents, Frank W. Butland and Dorothy Butland (Burgess). He is survived by: his children, Tricia of Stoneham, Brian of New Hampshire, Bethany (Joseph Richard) of Saugus and Kevin of Lynn; his grandsons, Kyle and Isaac Richard; and his brother David Butland of California. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
