He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Harer and Mary Harer (Maloney); and his close friend Jean Rashon of Swampscott, Massachusetts.. He is survived by: his sons, Brian Harer (Danielle) of Holbrook and Stephen Harer (Carolyn) of Wenham; his sister Maureen Hanlon (late Tom) of Dedham; his grandchildren, Colin, Kylie, Dillon, Teagan, Kainoa and Elin; and his nieces, Stacy and Amy.
