Madelyn M. Shields Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Madelyn M. Shields of Manchester, Massachusetts. Madelyn, born on February 27, 1949, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Moon and Frances Kendall Moon. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Shields; her son Thomas Shields Jr. (Louisa); her grandchildren, David, Stephanie and Eliza; her daughter Kira Willey (David); her grandchildren, Lola, Tristan and Brody; her son Seth Bartlett (Wrenn); her grandchild Luli; her daughter Kyra (Andrew); her grandchildren, Cameron, Riley, William and Graham; her brothers, Richard Moon (Risa) and Peter; and her sister-in-law Susie Shields. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (62 School St, Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA 01944).
