She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Gookin, Sr.; her parents, Edward J. Fitzsimmons and Julia V. Fitzsimmons (Coveney); her daughter Suzanne M. Gookin; her grandchild Chris; and her siblings, Marie McFadden, Paul Fitzsimmons, Frederic Fitzsimmons, Richard Fitzsimmons and Joan Stinson.

She is survived by: her children, Denise G. Cassidy (Paul) of Attleboro, Ellen Griffin (Edward) of Hyannis, Karen Warchol (Fred) of Attleboro, Diane M. Durant (George) of Middleboro, Lisa M. Connor (Chris) of Port Charlotte, FL, Mary Gookin of Hudson Valley, NY and John A. Gookin, Jr. (Jennifer) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Stephen, Kelly, Eddie, Michael, Amy, Paul, James, Danny, Caroline, Matthew, Salong, Jason, Suzanne, Nicky, Jarrod, Julie, Joey, Nathan, Brian, David, Stevie and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Ashley, C. J., Rachel, Dylan, Nolan, Ozzy, Elyana, Analia, Jaxson, Ella, Max, Leo, Abram, Kim, Will, Ally, Benjamin, Zachary, Hannah, Joshua, Brooklyn, Reagan, Easton, Laxton and Isla; and her great great grandchildren, Kaiden, Christopher, Kodi and Kinsley. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
