He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Paiva and Joyce E. Paiva (Ryder); his granddaughter Catherine Cody; and his great grandchild Skylee Kincaid. He is survived by: his wife Pauline A. Paiva (Clement); his children, Kimberly A. Paiva, Donald P. Paiva of Pawtucket, Jason M. Armstrong (Andrea) of Alabama, John R. Armstrong (Alexandra) of Mansfield and Kelly A. Brown (Lynn) of North Carolina; and his siblings, Meredith J. Jones (Dana) of New Hampshire, Linda J. Kincaid of Mansfield and William J. Paiva, Sr. of North Attleboro.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (330 Pratt St, Mansfield, MA 02048).
Due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the National Cemetery, Donald's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Brockton VA Medical Center, 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
