He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cavanaugh and Loretta Mae Morgan; his siblings, Lynne Heffernan and Dennis Cavanaugh; and his sister-in-law Jackie.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia MacMillan; his children, Lisa Linde (Dave), Melanie Wolloff (Josh) and Christian Cavanaugh; his grandchildren, Anna, Luke, Paige and Cole; and his siblings, Kathleen Silva, Richard Cavanaugh, Gloria Sullivan (Artie), Russell Cavanaugh (Laurie), Robert Cavanaugh (Randy), David Cavanaugh (Patricia) and Ronald Cavanaugh (Amy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048).
