He is survived by: his wife Betsy (Bradley); his children, Adam Johnston (Katherine Sherman) of Providence, Tim Johnston (Jessica), Kate Palanza (Thomas, Jr.) of Falmouth, Michaela Dowd (Brycen) of North Andover, Kevin Johnston (Jamie) of Aurora, Colorado and Jared Felty of Washington, DC.; his grandchildren, Grayson, Rhys, Ellie, Teddy, Isla, Rosie, Nolan and Brooklyn; and his sisters, Joy Aguayo (Jaime) of Florida, Patti Quick (Michael) of Florida and Jill Warden (Robert) of Virginia.
