He was predeceased by: his wife Mary J. Doldt (McDonnell); his parents, Francis F. and Mary E. Doldt (O'Connell); and his siblings, Frederick Doldt and Lorraine Comparato.
He is survived by: his sons, William Joseph Doldt, Jr. (Lauren Parzivand) of East Longmeadow and Dr. Bryan Doldt (Liz Palmieri) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Mary-Kate, Max, Emma and Lily; and his siblings, Mary "May" Hunnefeld of Natick, Katherine "Kay" Arsenault of Nashua, NH and Stephen Doldt of York, ME. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home (376 Washington St, Brookline, MA 02445). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
