He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathryn Young Rieper; his children, Karen Fidelak (Jon) of Erie, CO and Mark Rieper (Daphne) of Dover, MA; his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Braden Fidelak, Magdalena and Bryson Rieper; and his parents, Henry Rieper and Marion Rieper.
In lieu of flowers, Alan has requested that donations can be made to the First Church of Christ Scientist, Boston, or Lehigh University - two beloved organizations which had a significant influence on his life.
