He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton "Ike" Varrell and Mabel Varrell (Sverker); and his brother David Varrell. He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Donahue); his children, Kristen Varrell Haas (Jason) of New London, NH and Melissa Varrell Bouchard (Gary) of Marblehead; his grandchildren, Trevor, Sarah Haas of New London, Cole, Ellie and Cody Bouchard of Marblehead; his brother Richard Varrell (Pearl) of Marblehead; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Annese (Edward) of Hampton Falls, NH and Charlene Donahue of Beverly.
