She was predeceased by: her mother Jean; her brother Timothy John Hoffman; her aunt Joan Savia; her sister-in-law Jamie Horgan; and her in-laws, James and Alice McCarriston.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shanna L. McCarriston-Zukswert of Salem and Jenna L. McCarriston of Arroyo Grande, CA.; her father John P. Hoffman (Finnell) of Lynn; her husband Richard D. McCarriston; the father of her child John; her sister Cathy Hoffman of Swampscott; her son-in-law Michael Zukswert of Salem; and her brother-in-law Allen McCarriston (Donna).

Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Ocean St (67 Ocean St, Lynn, MA 01902). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM and at 10:15 AM.
