She was predeceased by: her husband James C. Laganas; her parents, Joseph Yiakas and Fotine Yiakas (Kombias); and her brother Costa Yiakas. She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Sims; her son-in-law Jay Lafromboise; her sister-in-law Afridiede Yiakas; her nephew Joseph Yiakas; and her niece Fotine Avramidis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
