He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Waldman and Bessie Waldman (Pivnick); and his siblings, Norman, Jennie Waldman and Stephen (Barbara Waldman).

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Waldman (Karger); his daughters, Cindy (late John Girard) of Groveland, Beth (late Robert LaRossa) of Revere and Linda (Robert Pepple) of Saugus; his grandsons, Jake Girard, Alex (Nia LaRossa), Zachary Girard (Emileah), Joshua LaRossa (Amanda) and David Pepple; his siblings-in-law, Stephen, Joan Karger and Jane King; and his niece Leah Stein of California.
