He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Kessler and Oscar Kessler. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Myerson; and his grandchildren, Rhonda, Jacob Pouladian of Marblehead, Marc, Leah Kessler of Salem, Cheryl, Bob Yoffe of Marblehead, Daniel, Aaron, Tamara, Joshua and Ariel. He is also survived by his children, their spouses.

“I was at the cemetery today visiting my mom and saw that Uncle Joe passed away a few weeks I am very sorry for your loss. I still think of my mom everyday and it's been 8 years. So our parents in their spouses are together again. I like to think they are watching over us. I have wonderful memories of all the cousins getting together at our parents' homes. Again my condolences.”
