She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Anne (Bethune) and Norman Clare Wight; her husband Robert F. C. Vessot; and her siblings, John B. Wight, Joan C. Stetson and Shirley A. Brown.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Gardiner (Joel) of Marblehead, MA, Margaret Lyons (Tim Moran) of Darien, CT and Nancy Thorne (Charlie) of Marblehead; and her grandchildren, Alex, Tory Gardiner, Lindsay Lyons, Hannah Lyons Rizley, Ben and Sam Thorne. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
