He was predeceased by : his wife Ellaine Rose; his siblings, Meyer and David Rose; and his parents, Esco Rose and Esther Rose.

He is survived by : his children, Judith (Alan Fishman), Michael, Charlotte and Larry (Gail Rose); his children-in-law, Jeffrey, Beth, Michael, Kim, Todd and Cherie Hoffman; his grandchildren, Eddie, Jessie Fishman-Janowitz, Ben, Lizzie Fishman, Jennifer Rose, Geoffrey, Kristen Rose, Eliza Rose and Ethan Rose; his stepgrandchildren, Sam Hoffman, Nicole Byrnes, Gregor, Ally Hoffman, Kate Hoffman, Trevor Hoffman and Lexie Hoffman; and his brother Arthur Rose.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Waterside Cemetery (294 W Shore Dr, Marblehead, MA 01945). A shiva was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sid's Home (52 Beacon St, Marblehead, MA 01945).
