He was predeceased by: his wife Marilyn (Downey); his parents, William Thomas McGrath and Jennie (McDonald); his stepfather Phillip McGrath of Newfoundland Canada; his siblings, William, Donald (Jacqueline) and Mary McGrath Batchelder (Duane); and his son-in-law Gregory McNamara of Marblehead.
He is survived by: his children, Mary McGrath McNamara and William McGrath of Marblehead; his siblings, Helen McGrath and Gerald McGrath (Beverly); his grandchildren, Brendan, William, Mary Vincent Larcom, Gregory, Edward McNamara (Teddy), Julia and W. Henry McGrath; and his children-in-law, Robert Larcom and Kristen McGrath.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 210 Beacon St, Marblehead, MA 01945.
