He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. McElman and Mabel V. McElman (Miller); his wife Barbara L. McElman; his son Stephen McElman; and his siblings, Wilfred (Florence McElman) and Rosemary Perkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas G. McElman (Nancy) of Marlborough and David C. McElman of Framingham; his grandchildren, Kaylee and Justin (Emily); his great grandchildren, Bella, Paisley, Jack, Kennedy and Ace; and his nephew Scott. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
