He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank P. Broll and Anna V. Broll (Kelly); his wife Mary E. Broll (Boyd); his brother William A. Broll; and his niece Linda MacDonald-Tuper.
He is survived by: his sister Margaret A. "Peggy" MacDonald (late Jack) of Hudson; his sibling's children, John MacDonald, Sarah Karish Marshall (John), Ed Karish (Antonette) and Elise Karish (Bruce Greig); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack MacDonald, Jessica MacDonald, Samantha Marshall, Theresa Marshall, Ethan Marshall, Ashley Karish and Eddie Karish.
