She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Podlesney and Eleanor Podlesney (Tripp); her husband Frank Gill; and her brother Paul Podlesney. She is survived by: her friend Mary McLellan; her children, Henry Garcia (Lyria) and Amy Garcia (Scott Marsh); her grandchildren, Maggie Tobin, Nicholas Garcia and Benjamin Garcia; her sisters, Karen Giardina (Kenneth) and Robin Monteiro (Joseph); and her sister-in-law Vallapa Podlesney. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jill's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, to raise awareness and support for those living with this difficult disease.
