He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Costa (Braga); his parents, Antonio Costa and Maria Costa (Jose); and his siblings, Jose Costa, Manuel Costa, Maria Carvalho and Maria Nascimento.
He is survived by: his son Jose Costa (Vanessa) of Hudson, MA; his siblings, Antonio Costa of Canada, Gloria Braga of Hudson, MA, Emilia Braga (Jose) of Hudson, MA and Maria Collins (Warren) of Hudson, MA.; his grandchildren, Randy Costa (Nhu Dao) of Hudson, MA, Ryan Costa (Yen Nhi) of Hudson, MA, Shaun Costa of Worcester, MA and Karoline Costa of Hudson, MA; and his great grandchildren, Tywin Costa and Sophia Costa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
His contributions to the Military Defense program, particularly in support of the launching and retrieving devices of Navy aircraft carriers, were a source of pride for him.
