He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick McStay and Alice McStay (Ryan). He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Linda Moffa (John), John McStay Jr. (Maxine), Kate Foynes (Mark), James McStay (Cindy), Steven McStay (Shari) and Patrick McStay.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (378 Lincoln St, Marlborough, MA 01752). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (55 Cemetery Rd, Berwick, ME 03901).
