She was predeceased by: her parents, Nils "Fred" Swanson and Edith Swanson (Krauskas). She is survived by: her husband Peter Karlsson of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts; her children, Kristen Kenney (David) of Bolton, Connecticut and Michael Berard (Sarah) of Avon, Connecticut.; and her grandchildren, Isabel, Abigail Kenney, Anna and Nicholas Berard.
