She was predeceased by : her parents, Col. Ernest Carr and Marian Lamson Carr; her husband James F. Hopkins; and her sister Clara Lamson Carr. She is survived by : her daughters, Karen (Oscar Santamaría) of Toledo, Spain and Kristen (Steven Hesse) of Littleton, MA; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas Santamaría and Katherine Hesse.
