He was predeceased by : his parents, Frederic J. Sweeney and Martha C. Sweeney (Wilson); and his daughter Karen A. Polkinghorn. He is survived by : his wife Hilda Sweeney (Power); his son Kevin R. Sweeney (Colleen); his son-in-law Philip Polkinghorn (Julie); and his grandchildren, Eric Sweeney (Christine), Catherine McKenzie (Kurtis), Meghan Sweeney and Adam Polkinghorn.
