Ryan O. Sebastian Obituary
1988-2017. Ryan Oscar Sebastian, 29, passed away June 15, 2017, surrounded by family and friends after a valiant fight with cancer. He is survived by his wife Caitlin B. (Salvatore) Sebastian and his son Charles Charlie Ryan Sebastian; his parents, Richard R. and Maria S. (Bumann) Sebastian; his sisters, Heather S. and Mariah E.
Sebastian. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Marian Bumann; his paternal grandparents, Richard and Judith Sebastian; many aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, great uncles and his in-laws. Ryan was an avid hockey player since age 6, as well as lacrosse and even football for a couple of years! After three years at The Fay School, Ryan graduated from Milton Academy, class of 2006.
He attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute graduating with a BS 10 and MS 11 in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Aerospace. He was a proud brother of Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji). Ryan was active in experimental rocketry since age 8, thanks to his uncle, Ron Sebastian and his Dad. Ryan moved to Sacramento, CA in 2011, to take a position at Aerojet Rocketdyne.
