With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Hunter Balkam Sr. of Marshfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Hunter Balkam Sr. to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his wife Ethelyn; his children, Charles H. Balkam, Jr. of Wareham, Susan Lajoie of Hubbardston and James Balkam (Beth) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Stephen Balkam (Sarah) of Marshfield, Zachary, Alexandria, Emily, Nicole, Abigail and Thomas; and his sister Barbara Balkam of Middleboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Congregational Church of Marshfield in memory of Charles Balkam and The American Diabetes Association.
