Derek M. Smith Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Derek M. Smith of Marshfield, Massachusetts. Derek, born on June 27, 1979, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Natalie (Gendron); his sons, Alex of Marshfield, Charlie of Marshfield and Jack of Marshfield; his in-laws, Patricia and Michael Gendron of Marshfield; his sister-in-law Leslie (Josh Veneziano) of Fitchburg; his parents, David Smith and Lorraine Smith (Reardon) of Humarock; and his siblings, Daniel Smith (Kristen) of Marshfield and Abby (Austin Harrell). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Christine Parish Church (1295 Main St, Marshfield, MA 02050).
