He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carole MacDermott (Mastropietro); his children, Kevin MacDermott (Andrea) of North Carolina, Todd MacDermott (Paula) of Hanover, MA and Teddy MacDermott; his parents, Walter MacDermott and Elizabeth MacDermott; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Catherine Mastropietro; his siblings, Paul MacDermott and Patricia Sullivan; and his siblings' children, Jennifer, Allison, Sarah, Cheryl and Sean.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (234 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190).
