He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura Donaldson Townes; his children, Douglas and Caroline; his parents, Mary Townes (Cheever) and Eben Townes; and his siblings, Deirdre Townes of Waltham, Eben Townes Jr. (Christina), Martha Clark (Dow) of Sandwich and Mary Foniri (Bill) of Holliston.
